I am having the same problem also, I thought it was in my tune from pcmforless.com so I got madz28 to send me a new tune and still the same problem. It really starts around 4800 RPM and goes all the way till it shifts at 6000 RPM (4L60Eby the way), almost like it is hitting the rev limiter but keeps pulling RPMs cutting in and out till 6000. I have tried cleaning my MAF and switching it out with another one and no luck. I have seen ppl saying on a few post that it was there belt slipping either because of a worn belt or worn tensioner, also heard that it was there O2's going bad. So I am working on the same problem and if I come across anything new I will let you know, gonna subscribe to this thread and hopefully someone will know what to do!!!!

i'll go out on a limb and say harmonics in the valvetrain. how far from coilbind are you running those springs?

i like your style lol well those coils are hitting all over the place so i'd rule out harmonics... something ignition related i'd guess... just weird that it wouldnt carry on the missfire past that point.
