help add some input to my build
If i didnt have bad luck i wouldn't have any at all. this is the second time i had to tame down my build. first my g/f blew her tranny and while that car was in the shop she wrecked my DD so im having to pay for the tranny and my dd deductible. so out of 4 cars we have 1 running right now till we get her car back from the tranny shop tomorrow.
car is a 1995 lt1 a4
Any how as of right now i have to replace a head gasket. i bought new opti, water pump and felpro head gasket kit. i replaced a couple of other parts that needed attention as well and tune up parts. i figure it only makes sense while the engine is out of the car.
i bought a set of long tubes of ebay as well as a magnaflow 3" cat back and a k&n cai, and an airfoil.
i have a few extra bucks left over. i would eventually like to go to a Xtreme Energy 276HR-12 cam and ported heads to finish up my set up.
can i run the 1.6rr on the stock springs or should i change the springs now with the stock cam? also would a cheaper tq conveter like a b&m help out at all till i get around to getting my set up finished and getting a yank converter?

the best advice anyone could give you is don't let your gf drive your car
seriously though I would not run anything more than stock lift on stock springs. If you want to do rockers than do springs at the same time especially if you plan on installing a cam down the road. Converter would probably be the best bang for the buck at the moment but I would just get a good one to begin with and not throw money away on something that you plan on upgrading in the future.

i dont let her drive the camaro lol. i figured her tranny was going to go soon any way car had 150k on it.
so what springs would you run with the cc503 just the beehives? and which spring rate
1.075"/1.310" O.D. or 1.055"/1.290" O.D.
wouldn't a 3200 stall be to much for a stock car?
i figured with a cheaper converter like a b&m i could sell it when i swap it out to the new one.
