A number of areas of contributing causes present themselves: secondary ignition, fueling, vacuum leak, exhaust leak... You can start anywhere but an easy thing to eliminate in your list of suspects is to duplicate the problem while having a fuel pressure gauge taped to the windshield. There is a schrader valve on the fuel rail and you can get a gauge at Autozone for about $30.00 if you don't have one already. Watch for brief pressure drop that shouldn't be there. If/when you eliminate fueling (could be as simple as a dirty fuel filter), move on to other areas. Plenty of info here on tracking down vacuum & exhaust leaks as well as ignition troubleshooting. Maybe do a quick check of where your TPS voltage is at closed throttle as well. Best of luck; let us know how it goes.
