Default running down MAF problems

My car runs fine with the maf unplugged, but with it plugged in my afr goes to 20 to 1 on a wideband at idle, but goes to 12.8ish when i hit the throttle. i have changed maf sensors and checked the yellow wire for continuity. still the same. so my thinking is that is is in the tune, but i still want to check more stuff before i go to throwing money at it. like what should the voltage be on the pink wire, and what should the voltage range be on the yellow wire when the car is idleing? thanks so much for your help

When I had MAF problems, the harness that runs down the passenger side by the header primarys had melted. The car was running extremely rich, and would stutter and try to die everytime I gave it gas.

Yes it did. Go to www.shbox.com, he has a write-up on the voltages that the wires are supposed to read I believe. I think that is where I found it, but this was over 2 years ago, so I can't say for sure if I found it there or not.

Not sure. Are all your fuses good? When my wires melted it kept blowing a fuse, but I do not remember which one.

if your having problems with the maf the tunner can tune it out so that the car runs off the VE tables...that's what they did to mine!

thats what i asked him about, but he said it was something that he needed to do in person. unfortunately there isnt any tuners close to me and i dont want to take it to get dyno tuned if i dont have all my problems fixed lol. do u think i could just work with my tuner through emails and just have him keep sending me tunes through email?
