Finishing up the cam swap....Found this bolt on the ground. Does this belong on my car? lol looks important. The car is in my grandpa's garage so it could be from one of his projects

Take a look

That looks like the short bolt for the waterpump or an exhaust bolt.

Definitely isn't for either of those.

Can't say I've seen that bolt before either.

Its not a flywheel bolt, I also just had everything apart entire engine and drivetrain, didnt label a thing and pull it all back together and i never came across that bolt. It almost looks like a drain plug but its too long. and the first 1/4" of those threads are rusted off my guess is underneath the car somewhere

Looks like one of the bolts that holds the air dam or black plastic bits under the front bumper. Not sure if those were that big though, but from all the rust, it looks like it.

x3 on the flux capacitor.

On a serious note, what about the that support member under the car that rides over the driveshaft, about half ways down the car.

I don't know of ever seeing a bolt with such a large portion unthreaded anywhere on my car.

I can tell by looking at the head of the bolt it is an Asian bolt, prob from a toyota or something, what is the head size 12 or 14 mm... someone in the past prob just lost a bolt and put that one in there
