ok so i unbolted those 2 bolts and this thing pushes itself out on its own, then when i pulled on it, it seems like its attached to something down in the bellhousing.. the rubber cover is blocking my view to see whats down there.. is there a trick to taking it out? what about installation when im done?

Because the dust cover obscures your view of the pushrod on the slave extra attention is needed to ensure the pushrod on the slave cylinder seats correctly onto the clutch fork. You'll understand once you put it together.
