Default is it worth me getting a tune for what i have?

I've got K&N CAI, headers, y-pipe, high flow cat, Magnaflow exhaust.

Is it worth getting a tune - will there be any gains? I was thinking a mail order tune - PCMforless?

thanks

Why not, it is not necessary, but you will get the most out of your mods if you do.

Send it to Ion at MADTUNER. There are gains to be had with a tune after LT's. Not a lot. A mail tune at this point will be sufficient. http://www.madz28.com/

I used PCMforLess on my bolt on LT1 car and I noticed a huge difference. I sent it to them when I swapped to 3:42 gears and a ss3600 stall. Car feels more responsive and shifts much firmer.

it will give you a few and the car will be more responsive..but, i would wait until a h/c swap to get it all tuned as one piece..

A bolt-on tune from Alvin was my first mod, well worth it.

I've dealt with Ion at Madz28/Madtuner, Alvin at Pcmforless and Solomon at lt1pcmtuning.com

All three were excellent results. Solomon though had the best customer service from all three and car felt slightly better.
