spark plug wire set for as&m headers
spark plug wire set for as&m headers i finally got my as&m headers installed the only problem i have now is that my number 5 i think spark plug wire (third plug back on the drivers side) is touchin my header tube. Ive ziptied all the other wires away but theres nothing i can do for this wire. How long will it last sitting on the primary i drove it 100 miles today seems to be running strong seems like most people have problems with the boot and not the wire itself anyone with these headers have any suggestions. right now i have 90 degree stock replacement msd wires on there.

I put heat sleeves and 90 degree metal boot caps on mine just to be safe. Here's a pic of 5 and 7 if it comes through. There is a way to have it not touch the header by tying it back against the block and into the stock support tray. I havent had an issue yet at about 11K miles. Not sure if you have the same style header??
