Default Remote mounting LS coils?

Hey everyone-

I'm in the middle of my build right now, and I'm looking for some options to mount my LS coils. I was going to have some standoffs welded to my valve covers (Cantons) but the TCS unit, oil fill, and breather will get in the way. Does anyone know of any extension harnesses or remote mounting brackets out there? I found the moroso setup, and they have an extension harness kit, but the description says there are (8) 3 ft. long harnesses. My LS coils are all mounted to the stock bracket and have one harness connector for each bank, so it doesn't seem that the moroso harness kit would work (unless the description is wrong).
Any thoughts?

Update:

Found some good stuff to help me out:

MSD 32079 - DYI 8.5 superconductor wires with LS ends
Moroso 72395 - remote LS coil brackets
Painless 60127 - 24" LS primary coil harness extensions

Good to go!

Would like to see pics when you get done with this. I want to do coils on my next motor, just don't want to clutter up the engine bay with them.

I would put standoffs under the mount before running them remotely.

You want the shortest distance from coil to plug possible. More length not only adds resistance, but more chances to arc or cause interference with other electronics.

Of course with high quality well shielded wires like the MSDs it would not be an issue, but IMO why risk it.

Here is a kit that will relocate the coils to up under the cowl. I've seen a picture of this and it looks clean. Don't know how difficult it would be to install however.

Besides the 24x brackets are there any brackets that people have used to mount the LS1 coils to the stock valve covers? I agree with the guy above and using as short of plug wires as you can..

Wow...talk about an old thread revival.
The way it used to be...Ugly, long-*** wires...

The way it is now! EFI Connection's coils/brackets, DIY MSD's. Much cleaner.

It looks like this might have to be the way I go. I wish they weren't so damn expensive

BTW I love those valve covers. Its funny the price of those covers I can justify even tho my stock ones work fine. But the $550 for the coils and brackets that I'll have to have is a hard bill to choke down...

Thanks! I definitely paid attention to detail the second time around...due to the ugliness of the first setup.

DG Motorsports. You should probably send him an email and see if he'll make you one first. He had to dig everything out just to make mine. (molds, dies, etc).

It would probably be better to get some friends/members to also commit, sine he will be more likely to dig out his supplies for a batch of 5 or 10 then just one little cover.

^ I tried to do this, I set up a thread on here and on LTXTech. Unfortunately, nobody was biting at the time. I'm a Manufacturing Engineer, so I'm familiar with the time and cost of tooling setups.
I told the guy (David Green) that runs the company to become a sponsor here and start communicating with the community. He's got a lot of nice F body stuff on his site.
