I have edlebrock midlength headers and y pipe and i believe the cat back is edlebrock as well. All 3 inch. I need to pass emmissions and to my suprise the cat was gutted when i bought the car. It needs to be bolted in and i can't find the specific cat online anywhere. It bolts to the y pipe with a 3 bolt flange and it bolts to a loose two bolt flange on the catback side. The catback pipe is tapered outward on the end to accept the beveled pipe on the cat. I know i can weld a three bolt flange to a universal converter, but what would i use to connect it to the catback? I'm just out of ideas on this one.

Also i'll be taking off the catback and just getting a pipe to bolt to the Y and then clamp to a bullet with a turn down.I know it will be loud but does this sound like it would work alright?
