Default got my rear back in the car

got the rear back in my lt1 today. this one came out of a different car.

i didnt put a lot of effort in to cleaning the this becuase im going to replace it next year.

i painted over this but it didnt need paint.

i know this looks bad but i rather it look like that then have rust eat the car. It is kinda weird some spots had rust and others looked like new. for example the panhard bar was all rusted to hell but the lower control arms didnt have a spot of rust on them the driver side floor board had nothing really and the passenger had quit a bit.

i put ceramic pads in im hoping i dont regret that as i have never run them before.

i hoping to actually save up the money in a few years and take the car down to a place my step father had his 70 chevelle done and let them throw it on a spit and sandblast the bottom and repaint it.

one last pic

this is what came out of my fuel filter. i put a new purolator on it. i have never changed my fuel filter on this car. after see this i will make sure i change it ever 15k now.

now to install the new motor.

i put a new fuel pump in the car as well and there was one hose that didnt seem to run to any thing? i never disconnected it. the 3 hoses that ran downt he body all got connected but the 4th one we had no idea where it went and just assumed it was a vent line

if you look at the picture of the tank you will see 3 hoses that run off the front then you will see on that runs around the side. is that just a vent line or did i make a mistake

Post a good pic of the tank from the side where all the lines are going. That should make it easier to figure out. (I confess, I want to see how the lines look with the tank out).

i put the tank back in the car. the only other pic i have is with the fuel pump on the ground.

im thinking though that it was supposed to run to the charcoal canister. does one of the 3 line that run down the length of the body go to the charcoal canister?

Awww, lost opportunity.

Yes, one of the lines from the front goes to the canister. (purge tube)
