backfiring helps!!
backfiring helps!! alright guys so I just got my car running again and it was the opti harness I had a spare one that the clip had broke off the connector so I decided why not try it, finally changed it out and got it down into the opti and the car started but now I have a problem with the car while its idling it will backfire or pop through the exhaust and when I rev it up it will backfire...I'm stumped the opti is brand new the wires are new... could it be the harness just coming loose maybe since it doesn't have the clip part on the plug? also there is no loss of power what so ever when you rev it up.... im stumped soe help would be AWESOME! thanks guys!
things to check.
Coil, Plugs, spark plug wires. Check for arching off the cables. the coil you have to hook up an ohms meter. it should be around 8500 ohms. thats what was causing my missfire just the other day
