another lt1 with a miss

i can rev the car in nuetral and it revs clean all the way up. i can get in it and make a couple pulls and it revs all the way to the shift points clean and smooth. then once the car gets up to temp it picks up an odd miss at idle and at the top of every gear it starts breaking up and missing under full throttle. i changed the coil and it seamed to help alittle but now its worse then ever.
any advice before i start throwing money at it blind
its a 96 a4 car

all i can say is borrow a scanner or buy one. go from there. i have that problem and new 02 sensors help alot but it slowly came back. but not as bad. at least find out what number cyl it is

thanks had big hopes of ordering some more go fast parts for it this week but now i just want to get it to run good.

changed the coil the icm and the fuel filter none of which helped.
it was shooting a code for the the the drivers side o2 cleared it and it hasnt came back on. i dont if that could be the problem.
