Engine is almost hooked up after the rebuild and cam swap. Anybody recognize this stuff?

The bottom two are the oil cooler brackets and the upper two are the tabs for the factory plastic spark plug wire looms.

And only the big wire from the battery should go to the starter. The only small starter wire (purple IIRC) comes from the wiring harness which is connected to your VATS relay in the cab. The other smaller wire from the positive post goes to the small post on the back of your alt.

Ummm - No. The top two are for mounting accessories to the trottle body like the TB cable cover.

Kind of unrelated, I got rid of the hose that runs from the back of the pass. valve cover. I have seen breathers used to cap the hole. but can I just use a solid cap?

Bottom right actually looks like a piece that "should" be tacked on to the coolant crossover lines.

the top two look like the brackets that hold the AIR pump solenoid on the left hand stud of the ignition coil. I think the wire that he is speaking of is the ground that goes on the passenger side motormount against the block, if it is a thin gauge purple wire it goes to the started if it is a heavy gauge ground than it goes to the mount

The top left looks like the bracket on the throttle body to me.

+1
I think both of them are for that.
What is it actually for though?

When I switched to my new TB I just left it off because it was literally attached to nothing.

EDIT: read a previous post. I remember what they're for now.
