Fuel Pressue Issue just wondering, is the fuel pump the only way you can lose fuel pressue? i can drive my car for about 15 minutes with absoultly no problems what so ever, and it car will start to cut out and eventually die... if i let it set for a couple minutes it will start and run fine foe about 30 secs... while this is all happening my fuel pressure drops down to 10 pounds... if i let the car cool complety down, it will run for another 15 minutes, and then the fuel pressure drop down to 10 pounds again... anyone have any ideas? i assume its the fuel pump but would like to hear if anyone else knows for sure, maybe the fuel regulator or the fuel but overheating or going bad? Most commonly it's the fuel pump. Other sources of pressure not holding are leaky fuel injectors, leaky fuel pressure regulator and broken/cracked/loose fuel pump flex pipe (inside the tank).
