roller rocker ajustment i have comp cam 7.195 push rods, stock new lifters, ebay 1.6 roller rockers self aligning, and comp cam beehive springs, and a lt4 hot cam i set them to 1/4 past zero lash and they where still loose i set them to 1/2 turn and then sounded like they where loose when the motor got up to temp i am already running 10w 40 oil ...so what im asking is how much is to much adjustment for the rockers. I don't want to set them to tight so where do i go from hear 3/4 turn or run thicker oil

what brand lifters? i have original GM factory lifters and i run 3/4 turn preload. The LT1 comes from the factory i believe with 1 turn past preload.
And are you sure your not just hearing the louder roller rockers? there gonna be a little bit more noisy

they are stock new replacement lifters and yea its not the rocker noise im hearing...i guess ill try out the 3/4 past zero lash i just don't want to over do it and lose compression or hurt some thing else

and also when when im driving the car around 2300-2500rpm the car feels like its struggling and the exhaust starts popping not back firing but popping but at wot the car runs fine and after i got my new push rods in my speedo stopped working
