Are you running drag radials or bias-plys?

There's a huge difference between slicks and drag radials. I was getting ready to ask why you're running slicks at 20psi. Just needed some clarification, that's all.

Get a two step on that thing ASAP. With that altitude and the trap you're running... put a 4.30 gear in that thing minimum, I'd run a 4.56. That'll fix your bog issue pretty quick

oh yea forget the radials, the line between hook and bog is extremely fine in a stick car.

I hear ya but this is a daily driver that goes to Texas once in a while which is an870 mile drive...I need to keep SOME fuel economy in it so 4.10's are my compromise. Trust me, if this were a track car, 4.30's would be in it already...but Thats not the sole intention and streetability is a concern as well.

As far as slicks go, the ony reason I dont have ACTUAL slicks is because my stock 10-bolt would tell me to **** off before I even got them on it lmao! My loan should be in my account any day now and I will have my 8.8 built shortly after...once that is done I will have good slicks on it with the 4.10's and LCA Relos and we can try this all over again haha

radials are the best way to break an output shaft or a 10 bolt. there's no give in the tire!

I am trying to make it to the LTX Shootout and due to a family emergency, the savings I had to do my rear WITHOUT a loan had to go to something a little bit more important...

I am single, in the military, and make plenty of money...enough to pay off the loan WELL ahead of schedule and this way I will be able to go to the LTX Shootout with a solid rear end and good slicks. I just dont make enough to rebuild my savings before then.

So yes. I took out a loan to build my car. Whats so wrong about that?
