Default Engine Wiring harness question

so i had a 96 z28 a4 that someone broke into to steal the bodys cpu, in doing so they cut through the wiring harness for both the body and the engine, as a result totaling it. so i bought a 94 v6 w/ a blown head gasket, i swapped the rear ends the suspension, interior, and motors, etc. however the 94 is obd1 and the 96 is obd2, so i did some research and i need to get a 94 5.7l engine wiring harness and can keep the bodys wiring harness in the v6 (yes i know i have to rewire the wires on the connectors going to the bodys cpu from the engine harness) i have called every junkyard around here and i have had no luck on finding the engine wiring harness for a 94 5.7 lt1 a4, i have called the chevy dealerships and they say it is discontinued (part number 12145304), no listings on ebay for a specific 94 harness (they all say 94-97, which will not work if it is anything but a 94)

my question is will a 94 corvettes wiring harness work and what will need to be done to make it work? i mgiht be able to get a corvette one and that is y i am asking.

i know it was a long write up but thanks for ur help ahead of time

call these guys they will get you one http://www.tacreationsusa.com/ or these guys http://www.contemporarycorvette.com/ they both specialize in f bodies and y bodies

i just bought one from trans am creations i haven't gotten it yet should have it today or tomorrow. they said they were going to go through the harness to make sure it was okay and meet gm specs.

the body wiring harness is going to be slightly different on the v6. it wont have the low coolant sensor plug, or the second fan plug. i also think it doesn't have the air pump plug. there may be other differences.

someone else might chime in with other stuff.

Well how much do you know about wiring?

I've done enough to where these cars aren't to complicated to run..
