for overall performance straight out the box, NO. money can be spent better with better gains. do a search bro.

They are worth it if your car is a dedicated drag car, but for the street unless you get a great deal on them spend your money elsewhere

I wouldn't pay over $500 (assuming they are in nice condition, freshened up perhaps).. That's just me though. I'm sure they are worth more to other people.

Truly depends on who wants the set up especially knowing a stock set of ported Lt1 heads and intake will run roughly 1300.oo and give a substantial gain for that cash, add the same amount to the Lt4 combo you now have a set of AFRs.....
Back in the day these heads sold like hott cakes since they were one of the only performance heads on the market.......

the heads go from 5-700 used, 9-1300 new. Intake has to be bought used if you want GM, they average 2-500 depending on condition. I was going to go LT4 heads but for the price of a used combo (say 1300) I got an AS&M 58mm TB, ported intake painted red, #39 Ford injectors, and ported stock heads with Patriot Gold Extremes. If you bought LT4 heads and intake you would still need a TB, more than likely springs and the injectors. So thats another 500 on the low side
