Default LT1 on engine dyno

I was Curious to if there would be any problems with just unhooking the wiring harness behind passenger side kick panel to tune the PCM on the engine dyno. I have ran the motor on the engine dyno before with a carb and distributor, but now im looking into getting the software to flash the pcm myself to get it dialed in real close.

Only prob I could foresee is having to connect the wires for the ADL connector outside the car. Its mounted under the drivers side dash...
