how much spark advance should a stock LT1 be running at idle

if i remember correctly its about 20*

ok mine jumps from 15-18 is that a bad thing or could it mean that the ecm has been flashed with a tune

your probably about right for stock...

i forgot the cars idle about 650rpm, i have my idle set at 750rpm..

i didnt change my timing to much..

20* at 800 rpm IIRC. I doubt its been re-flased as the timing is going in the wrong direction, tune = more timing.

ok it idles at about 1000 cold and shifts somewhere from 6200-6500 WOT

at 1000rpm you should be seeing around 32* on a stock timing table if i'm reading it correct.

also stock idle is set at 650rpm in park/neutral

also the stock rev limiter is 5800rpm i believe.. i have mine set a 6000.

Thats def not stock if its shifting at 6200 or higher its way into the redline... Stock it should Shift at 6000rpms, thats where mine shifts... but cold idle mines at 1000rpms too but when warm up drops to around 575-600rpms
