Yeah obviously I tune and build wicked ls motors but these numbers through a 400 trans are respecteable even for a well built 383+ ls ... What's great is the car actually drives nice it's got a nice choppy idle but you could easily drive this car to your local cruise meet or track day without issue

Oh yeah, forgot to mention - these are Advanced Induction heads with a cam they specified. The tuner, who builds LS stuff, was pretty impressed with the work and the numbers/responsiveness of the combination.

Fontana, and it is 1,110' above sea level, and has a typical DA of about 2,200-3,600 feet. Really sucks.

About what a lot of us see all the time. Get it running under those conditions and it will fly in good air. Don't remember the last time I saw it under 2200' around here. Wasn't this year. 4000' + is pretty common here in the summer.

I wish I could get a DA that low. Try running at LVMS in Vegas. Average DA in the winter is 3500, during the summer its closer to 5000. elevation is 2200.

Sounds like a boat anchor!

Good luck at the track. We'll all have to meet at Fontana over the winter.
