Default Low coolant light

Shortly after the cam swap my low coolant light came on and has not shut off. I've checked the fluid and to see if the sensors were hooked up numerous times and its all good. Think it could be a bad sensor?

Since you've just completed some work on the car, I would pull the sensor and give it a good cleaning. I had the same thing happen after a coolant change. When I looked at the sensor it had some crud on it. After cleaning it really good, it was able to function again. Not a guaranteed fix, but I'd give that a try before buying a replacement.

It is a very common problem as the sensors are prone to failure. You can either try cleaning it, replacing it, or just unplugging it (and the light will turn off).

Very easy to remove... A large wire clip holds them to the radiator and they're sealed with an o-ring. The last time I checked my sensor, I think I took my battery out for easy access. I would also visit Shoebox's site - He has some good pictures of the sensor there.
