Default Spark plug gap question.

I know this is a big topic and ive read what the factory recomendations are but i know you guys have a "sweet" spot. For a bolt on LT1 whats a good spark plug gap. Ive heard/read .044 but i havent asked on here yet. Opinions?

For a bolt-on car I would leave the gap stock at .050".

Unfortunatly they only had 6 TR55's left. And I needed the plugs asap (tips of them were fried) so i just got these champion platinums. Gapped them to .050 and the thing idles a ton better, also you can feel smoother acceleration. The plugs were last changed in early 07
