I just purchased a 94' Formula with a bad auto trans. Theres a guy local to me whos selling a stock auto trans from a 95' Z28. Are there any differences between the two transmissions, mechanical or electronic, that would prevent me from sawpping it into the Formula? Or, if there are changes, can they be remedied?

I believe you have to somehow address the PWM, can be done, look in the automatic transmission section.

The 4L60E had changes to it at least 94, 95, 96 in the b-bodies and I think there was another tweak for 97 but am less familiar since there was no 97 b-body. One way or another you can interchange them with varying levels of additional attention.
