damn PCM!!! i updated my tune just to raise my idle a little and go and load it up. LT1 edit finishes successfully - 100% complete. turn off key, close dialog box, close program disconnect cable...try to start car...just cranks...
hook up autotap see what was going on, get a code that PCM is not programmed? WTF?
So feel good that I had andrew at AKM socket this PCM for me last year so I replace the chip and program the new one. LT1 edit again completes successfully 100%.
Disconnect everything try to start car, again, nada...WTF? Autotap say PCM not programmed again.
just loaded a revised tune on Sunday I got from my tuner with no issues. now this out of nowhere. damn can this hobby get under the skin sometimes...

i calmed down...disconnected everything for a while, took a break and put it all back together. tried reading the pcm and it worked! So i tried writing and it worked! rewarded myself with a cruise on chicago's highways for 50 miles with barely any cars on the road...

Strats on North Ave is packed almost every night but a lot of kids with Junk cars/ricers hang there with some American Muscle. Still prob the best place to get a race off though. Strats on Grand is long gone and nobody goes there.
