My ABS light came on when one of the two wheel sensors came unplugged, they run right next to the exhaust so they can get burnt.

Take out the bulbs in the dash.

OP, if you want to stop chasing a phantom problem, the ABS module has around 100 DTCs of its own that can be scanned, helping to pinpoint your problem. A dealership (or quality repair shop) can scan the BCM for any stored codes. If the ABS iNoP light is on, there is an ABS code.

An auto parts store will usually scan your car for free and write down the codes for you.

I believe it's an hour of labor time which is roughly $100.

Parts store cannot scan ABS module codes.
