My speedo and odometer arent working!!!!!! when i turn on the key the speedo powers on but when i drive i get nothin. could it be the vss? i dont have any codes showing up. car has a4 700r4.
Just had this problem.
Check and see if your system is flashing any diagnostic codes. If it isn't, then you just need to replace the VSS pigtail. On mine, the black wire had rotted away from the connector. Your connector may have just came loose though. It's an easy fix either way.
