high rpm sputter?

Default high rpm sputter?

my car past 4000 rpm starts spitting and sputtering really bad, ignition control module? also it randomly shut off driving down the road all lights still worked just engine died and wouldnt start for 5 minutes.

You can get the ICM tested at Autozone- have them run the test 3-4 times in a row so it will heat up enough to fail if it's going to. Also see where the coil is for resistance:

spacing the ICM off the head is also a good idea, if you haven't already:

If the ICM is part of your problem, I recommend AC Delco. I tried a cheap one in a pinch once but it didn't last long.

No "Service Engine Soon" light, is there?

I would also be sure and check your plug wires. Sometimes you cant actually see them arching but they are still burnt through.
