O2 problem

Default O2 problem

I got an 2001 ls1, i bought 4 o2 sims, and i used 2 and gave 2 to my buddy that has an 1997 lt1 camaro, so he says he has one o2 in the rear which makes 3 total, is that correct?

also his o2 sim that i gave him does not work, and we dont know why

He has a total of 4. 2 precat, 2 post. If he tuned out the rears then he would have 2. the third may be dead or a spot for a wideband.

The passenger side front is hard to spot, but if you go from under and remove the starter it's right there and easy access.

Ok well his rear o2 is near the middle, but i couldnt find the other post o2,

the front o2 are slim, but the back are block, right?

but when we checked the machine, it says rear bank 2, and we cant find it is what im asking?

Front O2s use a flat four pin connector. The rears use a square four pin. As already mentioned, there should be two of each.

Since he already has no cats, I would just look for the left over wiring harness/pigtail. Should come out with the same bundle as the low oil sensor/pre-cat O2 and go from there. If the factory harness is unmolested, it's in there somewhere.
