Car died and will not crank back in need of help!!

Default Car died and will not crank back in need of help!!

I have a96 z28 lt1 my car was surging in gear would go up and down to 5/6 rmps and up to a thousand doesnt do it all the time but ill call my mechanic buddy he said take b12 and spray it around all the vacum hoses witch i did i sprayed all of them and car just died and now all it does is turn over but i took The intake tube of and sprayed b12 into intake it fired up and ran for a second and died again well turned key to on position and check for fuel witch its spraying out like crazy so i gues u could rule that out. So i disconnected the battery hopping that it would reset wat ever was rong but that didnt work either and iv looked on all the threads and really couldnt compare so if neone has ne info it would be greatly appriciated thanks

When you say it "ran for a second..." how good did it run for that second? Was it missing/sputtering/strug-ga-ling to keep running?
Opti is suspect at this point.

The second time win i sprayed the b12 straight into intake it fire straight up theres was not spiting rough idleing missing or nething it was runing like it should but the onyly way it will run if u help it wont crank on its on

I would start with checking your fuel pressure. Very easy to do. Get a fuel pressure gauge from any parts store, place it on the Schraeder valve and turn the key to the on position. Try to start it and see what happens. If you don't know what a Schraeder valve is then get a Haynes manual.

Ok i just did fuel pressure is at 40 and still wont start gas spraying out shrader valve like crazy

Did you get any of that spray crap on the injectors? Check the two 7.5A injector fuses. If they are good, check the injectors with a noid light to see if they are firing. Do all of this after you check that you have good spark at the plugs and out of the coil. Scanning for codes would also help.

Thanks brother ill keep u updated was a noid lite iv never hurd of one of those. And yes i think i sprayed around the injecters on passenger side wat would that have if this is the case

That's a noid light. It will prove that you are getting the PCM ground to fire each injector individually.

Start with that, then confirm you're getting good spark out of both the coil AND opti.
