torque arm

anybody know if the v6 torque arm will work in a v6 to lt1/4l60 swap in my '94?

I'm pretty sure it will work, but don't forget that the V6 cars NOT equipped with the Y87 package got a 2-piece drive shaft with a center support bearing that bolted to the torque arm. Not sure if this will affect anything in the swap, but it's something to consider.

They are the same. Actually the v6 and the v8 M6 torque arm are the same.

The V6 one is thought to be better because it has the extra bracing in the back of it that was for the carrier bearing mount.

i will be using a 1 piece driveshaft with the lt1 of course but why spend the money for another torque arm if the v6 one will work?

also need to know if the v6/a4 tranny crossmember will work with the v8 & 4l60e

thats why im asking. i DO have the 2 piece but if i take the center bearing out i think i will have enough clearance to run a 1 piece
