There are plenty of EFI connection swaps installed on here...

Just do a search and type in "efi connection"

As for pros and cons

Pros = no more opti
cons = the system is 2k....

Yes only bad part is your going to have to pay some cash for that set up. It is a much better set up than the opti that the lt1 has factory.

I have had mine on for all summer and it has been amazing. I tried all the other brands LTCC, Delteq, MSD Opti, and could not get it to work with 18lbs of boost.

Mike @ EFI Connection was very nice to deal with and his technical support was great. I did the DIY harness. Took maybe 8 hrs and that was cutting everything to length and removing everything I was not using. We did a 3 bar speed density tune from EFI Live. The car has never ran so smooth. This system works flawlessly and at this HP level is so much easier to tune.

I actually enjoy driving the car again and cant wait to take it to the track next season.

The EFI Connection kits are worth every penny and I am getting ready to do the conversion on my 96 Impala SS as well. I would recommend this kit to anyone from mild to wild engine builds and you wont be disappointed.
