Wait what?

This is UNREAL.
It has nothing to do with lobe separation, it has to do with about 5 different cam "specs" that you're ignoring...

HOws the cam that was chosen to me by LE?
The PCM and stock intake are a bigger limitation to this combo than the HR cam. The stock PCM and HR rpm limitations fit well together. Stock intake just ain't a great design for the rpm range you need to make power in with those limitations.

The LE cam looks ok, I'd like it more on a 108+2. It wouldn't hurt top end one bit, but will give you more midrange, which you could use with the modest compression.

bbbwhwhwwwhhwhhaaaaaa this thread is getting awesome. But OP that cam you listed from LE is a very well specd cam. THe power level will be great and are you shifting at 7krpm or is that when you want the most power to be achieved. POwer levels are pretty much cut off at that rpm and the stock pcm is limited there too.

Look at how narrow my tight LSA powerband is. I definitely need to widen it.

wow another e dick competition brewing in here lol.........im all in favor of big cams but in your case becuase of that stock ecm 7000rpm thing your gonna have to take it easy........id say go with a low lsa to keep the range down but then again if we do that its not going to react well to the nitrous.....no point in all that overlap blowing nitrous out the exhaust...........i kinda like wicked's 246/258 108+4 cam.........i mean that still doesnt tell us alot about it but shooting from the hip its not bad......i may actually lower that duration a bit becuase i think its gonna go over that 7000 spot espically if you got some big *** heads on there like ur describing........maybe knck it down a few degrees on each side like 242/252 108+4........as for solid vs. hydraulic.......a correctly built solid will ahve the longevitiy and WILL make more power than a HR

dont get me wrong I am in NO way a nitrous professional........i know my way around NA motors well as well as FI but this should help ya out.......just remember bud this is ls1tech dont beleive everything u read......you seem like a smart guy you'll be able to distinguish between garbage and real results

LSWHO, get ahold of yourself. Your actions are killing someone else's threads and is not fair to the OP. Give it a rest.
