do i need to cap off egr

I'm trying to fix all the little stuff that bugs me about my car, I've got the egr tuned out and still have the egr and the tube hooked up, I have a hesatation problem and was wondering if that may be caused by my egr being hooked up? thoughts?

It can if it is stuck open. I would remove it and cap it. Don't forget the solenoid too.

If its tuned out just remove it and you will need to cap it off.
