need lt1 carburated manifold
need lt1 carburated manifold Anyone in the houston area have a lt1 carb manifold for sale or trade, will trade ported lt1 fuel injection manifold/w new stock injectors opened up to 58mm for carb manifold, or sell lt1 manifold for $200 obo. Also need a electric waterpump and f body radiator. I am trying to convert my h/c lt1 to a carb set up for my 1979 malibu.

I figure you have exhausted the search on the sale side of the sight. Those things seem to fetch a pretty penny even used, and anything on here was modded already to the hilt. I took matters into my own hands and started my own conversion on a Vic Jr single plane by cutting off the thermostat housing. I did find someone here in town who will be drilling my holes where they go on an Lt1 for about $75. I paid about $70 for the intake used. I am sure I could have gotten one cheaper but it was local for me so I took it. So about $145 for the mod and what ever it costs for a can of machinist epoxy and maybe filling in the old holes with a tig for making it pretty, I will be cheaper than the parts counter of $260-$300. Just another avenue to explore if your feeling a bit adventurous. Wish ya luck too.
