Car is runnin like crap!
Car is runnin like crap! My 95 TA is running great at idle, but from there up to about 3000 rpm in every gear it is bogging down, like half power, when it should be screaming! but it clears up and runs great after that? anybody had this happend or give me any ideas about this?
I had a similar problem with my 97 formula about 2 years ago. Mine would bog in the 3-3500 range for a second then it would get after it after that. I thought it was a fuel pump on its way out as it didnt do it all the time. I ended up taking a shot in the dark (there where no warning lights on) and replaced both of my o2 sensors and that fixed the problem.
o2's or MAF ..unplug the MAF and see if the prob stops...as far as an opti..heres my 2ct
just go to advanced auto parts and get the Cardone Select for $200...its got a lifetime warranty ...the have to answer the phone when you call and cant avoid helping you at the counter...my cardone select came all new in a box ,i put an MSD cap and rotor on it even though it came with its own...locktited the rotor screws,sealed the cap especially around the opti harness plug..and has revved to redline and been a daily driver since march with out so much as even a miss...F uck dealing with people you cant meet at a counter...imo

Not enough info to help you diag your car but i used an auto zone opti with an msd cap/rotor and spun it up to 7grand for 2 years with 200 shot and work great i still have it on a self somewhere since i got a lifetime warrenty. Good luck with your fix and stay away from ebay and lt1 stuff
