Speedometer/vss. My speedo doesn't work. It has a new connector. I checked the wiring. And it's not throwing a code. My speedo goes up to 10 then falls back down when going 10mph down my gravel road. Any help?????
Is this a 93 4L60 car? I can't offer much help, but when I bought my 93 the guy I bought if from had a 700r4 in it with a cable VSS and didn't have it hooked up so the speedo guage didn't work at all. My SES light only came on every once in a while and usually only when I had been driving it for at least 15-20 minutes. I'm just saying the SES light may not come on when you have vss problems.

So the speedo won't go above 10mph? I don't really understand but I'll bump you back up to the top and hopefully someone else will chime in.
700r4 didn't come in the 93 f-body, it was a 4L60. Basically the same but not exactly. then 4L60E was introduced in 1994. So you're saying you took a 700r4 and put in your car?
What happens when you go 30mph or 60mph, etc? speedo sits on 0?
