LT1 383 Blower Build
Good lookin out though
Regarding the intercoolers, these are the LT1 kit units as the LS1 upgraded units have different entrances and exits for the plumbing. I know this is not optimal and hopefully the meth will help keep IATs down. Our front end is not optimal for a nice FMIC and I'm not looking to hack the front end to get it done. I've seen Fastbirds layout which appeared to be effective but I want to do some more homework before I start buying more stuff.
Hey... at least it will give me something else to do
Got the trans back from Tick on Thursday and put it in after a long Friday night with my buddy Jon. Somehow the nuts for the slave cylinder were misplaced so we were done for the night. Got a lazy start on Saturday since I was up until 2AM the night before. The headers/y-pipe connection really slowed me up. The LPP Y-Pipe fits like **** for lack of a better term. Everything after the Y pipe is going to be fabbed anyway but pretty annoying it didn't slip on like it should.
Anyway, still a lot of little odds and ends to get wrapped up before I can take it for a spin but I think it sounds great.
~65 psi of oil pressure at idle, 60psi of fuel pressure (I know its too high and need to adjust to around 41-43 psi). It started to stumble a touch but then started holding a reasonably steady idle which I assume may be typical of a first start and 80lb high impedance injectors. I was happy to see that Lonnies fuel system worked without any issues. I didn't expect any problems but nice to install something and it simply works!

Woot!!!!
We has flow?
Old & Busted

New Hotness - Custom Y-Pipe, 4" I-Pipe to 4" single in/out polished SS Magnaflow muffler to hideaway tip
Decided on the flanges over a slip fit for the Y-pipe so if I need to pull the trans or w/e it will be really easy. Everything tucks up nicely for such a large diameter system especially in the crossmember and over the axle area. I had them put two o2 bungs in each 3" section of the Y-pipe and then another after the collector. The tuner may want to monitor each bank and if I upgrade my wideband, I can do the same. The rear sensor I will use for the time being. I'm pretty happy and it sounds pretty nice too.

Here is a video of the car idling (not very exciting) with the new exhaust.

I did not want to sacrifice flow to have a dual outlet muffler put in. Nice thing is, the tips will stay really clean lol. The crossmember is from UMI and goes with their torque arm.
Well I was able to get the car ready for the dyno tune and headed down to Race Proven Motorsports in Delaware to get the job done. They came very well recommended and it was a solid choice. Fran and his staff were simply top notch. I don't think I've ever felt more comfortable handing my car over to another shop for any kind of work. The lounge was also comfortable and helped keep me relaxed in between dyno pulls.
The results are below and I'm very very pleased with the numbers. I was hoping for anything over 650rwhp and the car did even better. RPM mentioned that it will pick up a bit more with some miles on it but again, I'm very happy with the way everything went. Being the car was not pushed this hard up to this point, a couple minor issues came up but were resolved. As I planned, the driveability is much improved over the old heads/cam setup with the cc306 and spec 3 clutch. The rest is up for me to finish up and get it all set for the open road and eventually the track.
Big thanks to the South Jersey Pals, my close friends, family and the list of supportive vendors listed below.
Race Proven Motorsports - Great shop and very happy with the tune.
Lonnies Performance - Fuel system worked just as intended with zero issues. Excellent customer support and this was probably the only thing that worked right out of the box as advertised.
Bob @ Brutespeed - Great price on the blower setup and very helpful customer service.
Lloyd Elliot Portworks - Very easy to deal with and the parts worked/flowed as advertised. He actually claims the closest guess on the rwhp figure. The setup makes the power with very good driveability. Can't complain with that.
On to the numbers and video.

Nice work, now get it to the dyno so we can see some good numbers!!!
