Which oil pan?
I have a moroso pan on mine and you have to use thier pickup and it only certain pumps will fit the pan. Read on moroso.com. under the pan description in very small print are the pickups and pumps that fit. Starter fits fine but hell if I'll ever pull the driver LT header again. It wont come out with out removing the trans and pulling the bolt on the driver side motor mount and raising that side of the engine up. Also with my long tubes the oil level sensor would not fit and needed to be deleted. Other than that it fits fine and only leaks out of ever plug they put in it so get some Teflon tape and redo those. PITA but works good.
I have the Moroso and the fit is nice with no leaks...I did have to plug the hole in the side meant for the oil level sender because of my Kooks stepped LTs getting in the way. I do like the pan though and I bought mine with a pick-up designed for that pan...
