Default Spark plug gap

With the mods i've got...what should i gap my plugs at...right now they are at .035. Reasoning is i read on a website that with h/c etc....that .035 is about where you want them...but the car doesn't seem to run at good...what do you guys think?

when my car was N/A I ran cam only with plugs gaped at .050
On N2O I run .035-.030

.040 1 stage cold NGK w/ my nitrous setup(75-125 dry)

Mine are at .05 too, even though I have just bolt-ons. Wont be changing the plugs or gap this winter when I throw the heads and cam on though. I run NGK-TR55s.
