like that has already been said. its a good all around gear. With all the mods i posted i went 12.3@108 na and 11.2@120 on 150. thats on 3.42 gear

While 3.42's wouldn't be my choice if I were buying a set of gears.....I think they are the BEST choice because you can buy a whole rearend with them for less than a 3.73 or other gear swap like someone said. Plus this way you still have your old rearend to fall back on when (not if) it breaks. Also, you could swap some gears into your stock rear while it's out if you get the extra money.

Built trans, cheap used LT headers, n2o. There have been guys going mid 11's with a homemade CAI, open headers, 150 shot, built trans, sticky tire.

Build a CAI, cutout, build trans, PCM tune, n2o, tires. a stall and gears would be great but are only icing on the cake if you plan to run quick with a small budget.

what size stall would you guys recommend?, and these are all some good ideas and give me a basis of what im going to do with the car...dropping it off to the shop in the morning!

With the vert, SFCs are gonna be a must, especially if you are going to be launching hard down a track with good tires, stall and gears. Do weld in because on bolt in ones the holes will elongate after while.

Just purchased a pair of ebay LT's anf ORY used but praticallynew, and from the looks of it I should be lookimg at some pretty good gains!
