ARP Head Stud Part Number
on my second head swap with studs... still waiting to see my coolant level drop. I didn't even use the GM tablets this time around

Copper silicone is what I'm using to seal them. I personally have never used studs, but they apparently provide better clamping force than bolts. However from what I understand, they are a PITA to seal properly and are a bitch to use with the motor in the car as the cowling gets in the way. Nothing wrong with bolts, IMO.

I'm really just doing a few things before I swap the motor in. I am putting on a LE ported intake, LE3 heads, cc503 cam, ls7 lifters, comp cams 1.6rr pro magnum rockers NSA. Trickflow pushrods, new oil pump 10544 and replace every gasket. I say its not a lot but really I guess it is. So with that. What would you reccommend?

Well I was planning on running a different cam until i got this crazy good deal on new ls7 lifters and cc503 cam for $250. Couldn't pass it up. And I originally bought the le3's for my next 383 build but am going to go ahead and run them for now. I figure I can't possibly hurt anything and they are better than stock heads.
