I'm going to just get my catylic converter replaced and see if that helps or not.

Go the catalytic converter changed Friday and I failed the emissions again today. I'm running out of ideas here on why it's putting out too much NOx. Anyone?

You did get a three way catalytic put on right? When you changed the EGR valve did you get the one for an automatic trans because there is a difference. Does the car have headers?

Things that affect Nox : running lean, ignition timing too high, high combustion chamber temps, carbon in combustion chambers,

Sounds like it definitely could be fuel. Otherwise ICM is a possibility, with an easy test at autozone (test it 6-9 times to heat it up). If you get low resolution codes, its your opti. Thanks for thinking of us.
