383 ?

My buddies building a 383. He asked me if I knew whether or not a 383 can still be fuel injected, or does it have be carburated? I wasnt sure so here I am asking you guys, any help would b greatly appreciated.

Yes, the computer will have to be re-tuned at the minimum.

Should also be noted that displacement is NOT the source of power. You can easily add a couple hundred HP before you even need to think about touching the rotating assembly.

All the old school carburated guys at the track are floored at what we do with fuel injection.

If he IS building a 383 and asking that question he still need to do alot of searching and start looking for helpfull info. There a lot of (builded) 383 LTX fuel injection from NA to super/turbo charged.

Air/fuel delivery has nothing to do with displacement.
