I was wanting to know what the stock exhaust piping is on a 93-97 camaro z28?Ive heard it was 2.5 inch is that true?
Also is there a difference in 3 inch -2.5 performance wise?

The stock intermediate pipe (between the cat and the muffler) is 2.75".

And there's a reason most every cat-back is 3"+...power.

^^ yup what he said. Stock pipe is 2.75"... 3" will allow for more flow and thus more power

Only thing 2.5 inch piping is used for on these cars is tailpipes on some systems and what a lot of people run TDs with
