I ran across a similar ID # VO602WHK. The owner stated the WHK suffix translates to a 1994 Caprice 9C1 350ci. Of course the V is where it was made and the 0629 is the month and day from what I gather.

EXACTLY why are you recommending this?? Can I guess raging ignorance and a blind belief that anything not Caprice is better??

Don't waste time swapping to aluminum heads till you are ready to put a ported set on with a bigger cam. PORTED aluminum heads can be a great upgrade. Put a stock set on now and you will either have to buy a second set later for porting or have a lot of downtime when you take them off and send them out for porting. Also only a couple casting numbers are actually good for porting.

Still some questions to be answered here the Caprice did NOT get the LT1 in 93.

Is this for sure an LT1 OR is is a 93 cop car motor??

What tranny is it, if it came behind an LT1 in a Caprice it is a 4L60E an electronic version of the 700R4.

Can the OP post some pictures?

well its a b-body lt1(cast iron heads) can you tell what it says next to the gm stamp it should say 5.7(350) or l99(262).the l99 is a 4.3l
