The o ring goes on the end of the hose? And bend what back square?

You aren't missing a bracket, its the rusted thing below the bolt that holds your rail on in your pic. They goes on sideways (4 of them) and hold the tubes to the rails. Just drain the tube of gas and remove the brackets with a torx head. Bend them back to square and reinstall.
I'm sorry but wtf are you talking about? Maybe I'm missing something but thats confusing.

We are talking about the crossover tube on the fuel rails here, right? I'm starting to think I'm thinking of something else here too

You can take apart the fuel rails and tubes, it separates into 4 pieces. Two rails and two tubes. The brackets that hold them t/g and keep everything square (so the o-rings seal) can get bent when the assembly is forced.

Got it back togeather , no leak. But it has a bad misfire. any ideas? Could the rockers being adjusted wrong cause a mis?

If they are too tight, then yes it could. You would also notice it wouldn't idle very good and would be very down on power, not like a random misfire.

Well the car doesnt idle very good, BUT the code says "Random Misfire"
