knocking when under 20 mph

knocking when under 20 mph I have a 94 z28 and it makes a steady knock when driving under 20 mph. I dont have much knowledge about cars. just wondering if anyone may have any idea what it could be.

Sounds like your brakes. Mine done the same thing and would go away if you apply a little brake pressure. Its probably the front brake pads moving. I think i turned my rotors and it stopped. If your rotors are wore enough to have the rusty ledge around the perimeter then i bet thats your problem.

It only does it when I am going slow. It doesn't sound like a motor problem. I cant really tell which part of the car its coming from. I will try and apply pressure to the brakes and see what that does. I'm sure it will still do it though. It gets a little worse whenever I am turning and it is a pretty loud steady knock. Its louder when turning to the left.
