Announcing the 2011 LTX Shootout
Count me out, this is the hardest weekend to take off of work and I can't make it this year OR next year, and maybe the year after that the way our calendar patterns at work. *sigh* Out of curiosity, why is labor day weekend picked?
We pick that weekend because it gives that extra day (labor day) to get home for the guys traveling 15-24 hours away.

Just curious if maybe you guys could set up some grudge races regardless of classes that they are in. We could get some side bets going (with FAKE money of course!). Maybe some of the modified n/a guys against some of the extreme street p/a guys. Maybe some other friendly callouts?

It was 2906 early last summer, but I took some weight out since then. Probably around 2850ish as it sits. I should have drag brakes and lexan on it by the end of the summer, plus a lot more metal cut. I can see it being 2700 without too much trouble.
WTF!!!!!! how in gods name did you get it that light.........damnnnnnn!!!! i was 3500 last year and im struggling to get to 3300lb this year lol

Not sure. It's pretty easy to get an f-bod down to 3000 without spending too much coin. Maybe the Earth's gravitational pull is a little stronger in Rhode Island. The weights I posted where with me OUT of the car. I'm around 195-210 depending on my lifting schedule.
Thx mike yea im looking for something cheap light and with brakes. I can put tires on it and paint it if need b.im thinking ill find one come spring time when i have more dough. And im def down for a lil fri night racing once we get there as i will be towing right behind mike coming down.
well it looks like my drive is gonna be just a bit further. Found out yesterday as of March 7th I won't have a job anymore. I'm gonna be relocating to Phoenix, AZ. So in 2 months I gotta, get a loan for a new tow vehicle, put my camaro back together, find a house, n pray I can find a decent job in AZ.
My drive went from 8 hours to now it will be a 30 hr. drive, but I'LL BE GOD DAMNED IF I DON'T MAKE IT!!Also if anyone knows of any good shops in AZ that would be badass cuz idk if I'm gonna have the car back together by March.
